Right Hand Robin...

As you may have noticed, I haven't posted much in the last couple of weeks and here's why...

Long story short, I sprained my ankle and took a hard fall on my left hand two weeks ago during a friendly, but competitive "touch" football game with coworkers. Please note, in such a football game, you're supposed to wait five Missisippi's before rushing the quarterback... a memo my friend didn't get. Just sayin'.

Anyway, my ankle healed pretty quickly, but the pain in my wrist stuck around. After more x-rays and an MRI, it turns out I broke the wrist end of the big bone in my arm. Thankfully it's my non-dominant left hand and it doesn't require surgery, but I will be sporting this lovely cast (in beachy blue of course) for at least the next four weeks.

There are plenty of less hands-on house projects I can work on during this time, like some of the painting projects I've been planning. However, Chris will be handling the big stuff since it's pretty comical for me to try to use tools right now. So please forgive me if my posts over the next month seem a bit fluffy or if there aren't as many (typing takes a bit longer), but I promise it's only temporary!
